Your Landing Page Brings No Leads: 8 Causes and How to Fix Them

A normal landing page converts 2–5% of visitors into leads; a good one converts more. If yours is noticeably below that with real traffic coming in, the problem is almost always one of the eight below. Run through the list — it's a 15-minute self-check.
1. Slow loading
Longer than 3 seconds — and up to half of mobile visitors leave before seeing the offer. Check your site in PageSpeed Insights: a mobile score below 60 means start here. This is where ad money burns: the click is paid for, the person didn't wait.
2. A confusing first screen
Within 5 seconds a visitor must understand: what you offer, who it's for, and what to do next. "Innovative solutions for your success" is not an offer. "CNC milling with micron precision — a quote from your drawing" is: in the FrezaLviv case exactly that first screen doubled the leads.
3. No price at all
"Ask the manager for the price" filters out everyone who hates surprise calls — which is most people. Can't name an exact sum? Give a range or a "from". We show all our prices upfront — it builds more trust than any slogan.
4. A five-field form
Name, phone, email, company, "how did you hear about us" — every extra field costs you leads. Two are enough: a name and a convenient contact. The manager clarifies the rest in the conversation.
5. One call-to-action for the whole page
An "Order" button only at the bottom — half of the visitors never scroll to it. The CTA belongs on the first screen, in the middle and at the end. And not "Submit" but something concrete: "Get a quote", "Book the launch".
6. No trust signals
Work samples, real numbers, guarantees, a contract — at least something must be on the page. An anonymous landing with no examples loses even to a weaker competitor who shows their work.
7. Ads lead to the wrong place
An ad about "fridge repair" lands on a generic "home appliances" page — the visitor doesn't find what they clicked for. Every ad group needs its own page, or at least its own first screen.
8. Leads get lost after submission
The form works, but you reply a day later — the lead has gone cold and ordered elsewhere. Requests should land in Telegram instantly, not in an inbox checked once a day. In our landing pages that's the standard: form → Telegram + email immediately.
Recognized your site?
If it's one or two issues — fix them yourself, this list is enough. If most points hit home, it's cheaper to build the page right once: a $150 landing page in 72 hours ships with all of the above baked in — speed, offer structure, a short form, Telegram notifications. And a free SEO audit will tell you whether your current site is able to sell at all.
